Summary: Loved my stay at Thornton Beach. Appreciate the hosts getting in touch before my stay to let me know about the check-in process. There are only 2 bungalows so it's nice and peaceful, and so lovely to sleep with the sound of the waves crashing on the beach across the road. There's not much in the area and I drove to Cape Tribulation (roughly 30 minutes) to get dinner. The eco-friendly lodge runs on renewable solar power. There's a bbq outside, and a small lantern to use outside once it gets dark. The hosts were also really helpful in the morning with information about local hikes and activities to do in the area. Thank you, I would love to stay here again!
